Note taking in outdoor learning
We are going to be writing unbiased reports about the impact of the Roman Invasion on Celtic Britain. So today we took our note taking outside. We looked at how the Celtic armies fought, how the Roman armies fought, and how life in Britain was quickly Romanised. We learnt about Emperor Claudius who, when he invaded, did it to prove that he could still be an excellent Emperor even though he had a physical impediment and suffered long bouts of illness. He succeeded too - he was made a god when he died.
