Background Information.

Stanley Grove is a Wakefield Local Authority maintained school.  We are a single form entry school with annual admissions numbers of 30 and a nursery for 3-4 year olds.   Part time nursery places can be taken flexibly depending on availability.  We also provide 16 places for the 30 hours for 3 year olds for families who are eligible for this alongside the free 15 hours which all 3-4 year olds are entitled to.  Parents are able to pay for additional hours if places allow.  Please contact the school for more details of this option. 

We have a formal partnership called Outwood Together.  This is a cluster of 8 primary schools including stand alone academies, Church schools and a special school.  We work closely together to support staff development and improve the teaching and chances for all children in our group, as well as supporting other Wakefield schools.

The Head Teacher is a Local Leader of Education and a reading specialists for the Jerry Clay English Hub where she supports schools across Wakefield, Leeds and Barnsley in this role.
