Sandal Castle Poetry Workshop
Louise Bragan, from the Museums Learning Service, took us on a very informative (if a little breezy!) walk around Sandal Castle. We learnt about its history and what it would have been like to live there at different times in the past. We made sensory based notes based on what we heard and observed, before we headed into the visitors centre and wrote poetry. Some of the poems, redrafted during our computing lesson, are featured below as well!
