At Stanley Grove, we have a Literacy Specialist - Joanne Frost who works for the Jerry Clay English Hub.  We have supported and worked with 150 schools (2019) through delivering road shows and working in schools to audit, support and plan for their next steps in driving improvements in phonics and reading. 

This work has continued since then to support schools with their programme of delivering high quality phonics in schools across Wakefield, Barnsley and Leeds. 

It is exciting to support so many schools in their journey to ensure that reading and phonics is effective in their schools and all children pass through the reading gateway.
